And now we know how Hollywood’s platinum-haired couple came to be.
Kim Kardashian reveals how she and former “Saturday Night Live” cast member Pete Davidson got together in Thursday’s episode of Hulu’s “The Kardashians.”
Kardashian, 41, says she kept mum about the burgeoning relationship in case things went south. “Honestly, I just feel like I wanted to really make sure, and not just be so, ‘Oh, my God, I met someone, and I’m having fun,’” she says. “And then just start talking about it on a show, and then if we weren’t talking months later, I’d be an idiot.”

Kardashian says she felt a spark when she and Davidson, 28, shared a brief kiss during an “Aladdin”-themed sketch in her “SNL” hosting debut in October.
She says when their lips met, “it was just a vibe,” and inspired her to “try something different.
“But Pete does not come to my afterparty,” Kardashian continues. “Everyone was at my afterparty. He does not give me the time of day.”
So Kardashian took things into her own hands. “A few days later, I called the producer at ‘SNL,’ and I was like, ‘Hey, do you have Pete’s number?’ And they were like, ‘Yeah!’ And I text him,” she says. “I wasn’t even thinking like, ‘Oh, my God. I’m gonna be in a relationship with him.'” Kardashian says she had a “need to get out there” and was looking for a fling.

The budding romance shocked Megan Fox, the fiancée of Davidson’s close friend Machine Gun Kelly.
“After we got together, and it was like a thing, Megan Fox texted me, and is like, ‘Is this for real?'” Kardashian remembers. “‘Because he asked me for your number months ago, and I was like, ‘Dude, you have a better shot of me and MGK getting eaten by crocodiles than you ever getting her number. Never gonna happen. Do not ask us.’”
Kardashian and Davidson, who made their red carpet debut at April’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner, seem quite happy together. “Pete has got to be literally the best human being I’ve ever met,” she says in this week’s episode. “People always say, ‘Oh he’s so funny!’ That’s fourth on my list of why I like him. (He) always wants the best for people, can handle anything, always does it with grace. He’s really, really thoughtful and humble, and just so genuine. I would say the perfect word to describe Pete is genuine.”

In the June 2021 series finale of E!’s “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” Kardashian spoke about what she longed for in a partner following her split from ex-husband Ye, formerly known as Kanye West.
“I always thought that’s totally fine, I could just have my kids. My husband moves from state to state, and I’m on this ride with him,” Kardashian said. “And I was OK with that. And then, after turning 40 this year, I realized, no, I don’t want a husband (who) lives in a completely different state… I want someone that we have the same shows in common. I want someone (who) wants to work out with me.”
And that’s exactly what Kardashian has found. “I never knew you can just be so happy watching TV series and going to the gym,” Kardashian tells her sisters Kourtney and Khloé. Davidson also takes care of her.
“I had this big pimple on my nose, and I kept on complaining about this pimple and being like, ‘Oh, my God. I have to get up. I have to put pimple medicine on,’ “Kardashian says. “One thing that we seriously have in common is we’re obsessed with skin care and dermatologists and beauty products. I fell asleep at 8:30, I was so tired. And I woke up in the morning with dried pimple medicine on my nose. He put it on for me in my sleep, because he knew that I really needed it to go away.”
